At Warwick Junior School, performing arts helps pupils to build confidence and develop independence.
Performing arts at the Junior School
Pupils have a drama lesson each week where they get to explore the performing arts, movement, and the spoken word.
For pupils in Year 4 and Year 6, a major highlight of the year is taking part in their own productions, performed in the Bridge House Theatre. Pupils take up roles either on the stage or managing backstage, with all boys given responsibility to affect all sound and lighting requirements as well as performing as part of the house band.
LAMDA
Our LAMDA club develops confidence, communication and performance skills through drama and public speaking. Pupils can work towards internationally recognised graded qualifications in areas such as acting, musical theatre and speaking in public.
