Ahead of joining the Junior School, you do not need to apply for your son to attend.
Pupils are also not required to sit the Junior School entry assessments. Places will be offered based upon reaching the required academic performance and progress, and consistent aptitude.
We understand that moving to a new school setting can bring both excitement and uncertainty for children and their families.
To support the transition from the Prep School to the Junior School, a carefully planned programme is in place.
With a range of events designed to help boys become familiar with their new school, such as workshops, open days, and engaging activities within the Junior School environment. These experiences allow pupils to build confidence, meet our dedicated staff and teachers, and gain a sense of what daily life at the Junior School will be like.
For parents, regular events and communications provide insight into the next stage of their son’s education. These may include open events and informal opportunities to meet with members of the leadership team, ensuring families feel informed and supported throughout the process.
An overview of the journey from Year 1 to Year 3
