At Warwick Junior School, every pupil is encouraged to thrive both academically and personally, embracing our school motto ‘Altiora Peto’— meaning ‘aim for higher things’.
WELCOME
Our curriculum provides a strong and well structured academic foundation, complemented by an exceptional range of co curricular opportunities.
Music, drama, and sport all play central roles in school life, ensuring that every boy can discover and develop his individual strengths.
We are dedicated to helping our boys persevere, embrace mistakes, and view setbacks as valuable learning opportunities. Our skilled and experienced staff nurture curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love of learning—habits that will serve our boys well throughout their education and beyond.
Our facilities include a bespoke Junior science laboratory, modern computer suites, and a range of digital learning tools such as iPads and Learn Pads. While excellent resources matter, it is the spark of inspiration—ignited by passionate teaching—that truly drives our success.
With more than 80 clubs on offer—including an outstanding arts programme—there is always something to inspire, challenge, and excite. Our long tradition of sporting and musical excellence is matched by our commitment to participation; each year group fields several teams, giving pupils the chance to enjoy regular fixtures and take pride in representing the school. In Music and the Dramatic Arts, boys have a range of opportunities to perform throughout the year, with great enthusiasm and musical ability.
As Head, I am immensely proud of our community. We strive to create a nurturing environment that brings out the best in every boy: challenging them, supporting them, and helping them grow in confidence, independence, and resilience. With committed staff, a wealth of opportunities, and strong pastoral structures, we prepare our pupils not only for the transition to Warwick School but for the world they will one day enter.
A Warwick Junior School education is rooted in the desire to equip your son for the future while providing an environment that inspires, enables, and empowers. Though the world of work may be years away, the values, skills, and attributes we instil will help our boys to develop life-long friendships and flourish in an ever changing world.
